Pool Leak

Detection

Peace of mind for all property owners

with our pool leak detection service

When investing in a great pool, you must treat leaks immediately. It is normal to lose around 1/4 inch of water per day because of evaporation. Any amount over that or issues maintaining a constant water level with an autofill system may be a reason to believe your pool is leaking.

Exclusive Pools Miami provides peace of mind for all property owners with our pool leak detection service. Given that leaks can often mask other problems or even bigger leaks and require complex solutions, we offer a 60-day guarantee.

Innovative

Detection Methods

Our evaluation starts with pressure testing the plumbing using an innovative ultrasonic locator to detect any broken pipes and prevent damage. The entire shell of the pool and fittings, including return lines, main drains, skimmers, vac lines, and gutters, are dye tested. Hidden water leaks can cause serious damage to the shell from the constant flow of new water, and even your deck and house/building foundation can shift.

Poor construction or corrosion may be the culprit when it comes to the cause of your pool leak. Ground movement can also cause undetected pipe damage. Once a leak is repaired by our team of certified experts, you will save money on repair bills, equipment replacement, and downtime.

Types of leaks

Skimmer

A skimmer leak is quite common, especially where it meets the pool surface, as this area is prone to separation and water seepage. Age and weather can also cause concrete to expand. Another culprit could be a loose faceplate.

Lights

In-ground pool lights are another high-traffic area for pool leaks. Separation can trap debris or cause seepage.

Pipe

A lesser-known culprit for leaks is a conduit pipe separating from its niche. This is a slow leak that needs professionals to detect.

Plumbing

Although rare, underground plumbing may be the cause of the leak due to shifting and expanding. This is one of the easiest leaks to repair, as the pipes are easy to access.

Shell

A pool shell can leak at any time. Vinyl liners can tear or leak around fittings, such as lights, drains, and returns. Concrete and fiberglass shells can crack, especially around pipes.
